No matter what the setting may be. A pond, a lake dock, river marina, you can rest assure we have the right marine deicing equipment. With several mounting options for the de-icers and Horspowers ranginging from 1/2HP -1HP models and 120volt or 240 volt options you can get the right combination to do the job. Don't forget to use a C-10 thermostat control or the C-20 timer / thermostat control unit. It will help these already efficient deicers be even more efficient. they can be used in ponds as well to keep an opening that allow harmful gases to escape. You can also keep an opening in your Duck hunting ponds as well. Use the horizontal float option. A small generator can run them if electricity isn't available.
They circulate subsurface water (which is warmed by geothermal heat) to the surface to melt ice and prevent its formation. This helps to protect your boat and dock from lifting damage due to "ice jacking" and the shearing and crushing damage caused by ice expansion. The Kasco Marine De-icer 3/4hp model keeps up to a 75' dia.open area.
Note that Deicing is more of an art form than a science. More northern regions like Canada may see a little less opening at times depending on the weather patterns. Do know you'll get the performance you need to protect your investment. We are here to answer any questions.
